yep!. and i have!.!.!.back many years ago!. nowadays i pitch in to pay the nude model for life drawing sessions!. art models get good money!. i pay ours up to $25!.00 an hour, depending on what we are doing!. long poses for single drawings take experienced models who can hold poses for hours, with short breaks every 20-30 minutes!. inexperienced art models get $15-20 an hour!. you can't beat that for a couple hours work!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If the model didn't show, possibly!. More likely, though, I would leave some clothing on (especially if teaching the class)!.

The reason for having nude models is mainly tradition; clothing used to be much more obtrusive, and simply taking it off lets the artist or student pay attention to issues of anatomy, balance, proportion etc!. without the distraction of clothing!. Many students get sidetracked into rendering details like zippers, buttons etc!. while their fundamental drawing of the form is still not right!.

These days it is just convention, but there's no reason people couldn't pose in an unobtrusive undergarment if that seemed like a more comfortable approach!.

Other considerations (much more important than nudity) are the model's ability to hold still for varying periods!. This requires more than laziness; it actually takes a fit person to hold still in interesting positions!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

It depends obviously!.
I am 14, and i don't want to be hypocritical and criticize Miley for her Vanity Fair photo shoot, if i pose naked!.
But if I was older, and i still had my passion for the Arts, then maybe!. It also depends if it's an art class in a Ghetto school or in a professional and comfortable school!.
