Question: How to present my art idea!?
So I have an idea for my Year 12 art folio!. I've chosen the theme "When we were young" which is basically a progression through a person's childhood years until they reach old age!. It's sort of a memory montage with recollections of different scenes from a person's childhood and adolescence!. I've chosen to draw those scenes in silhouette format!. But there's a lot of scenes, and i'm wondering how to present them!. Should I present them on one large canvas/paper, with each scene a small box, almost cartoon-style!? Or should I do them on small separate canvases!? (But that would take up a LOT of room) Or should I present it in a booklet, with each page a different scene!? I really suck at this presentation business so any ideas would really be appreciated!.

ThanksWww@QuestionHome@Com

Okay it's wacky ideas morning, what about a fold out booklet like a concertina!? This is where it gets unusual, when you unfold it and stand it up you only see one set of sides from either end so you could alternate the pictures so you read from beginning to end and back again, the first and youngest picture would be on the first page and the oldest on the next page and so on!.
If you want to do it on one large sheet with small pictures you could do it on a snake shape, rather than cartoon box format, but it really depends on how big the silhouettes are!. If you use small separate canvases you could punch holes at the top and bottom and string them together so it unfolds vertically like a wall hanging, or you could do something similar but have it opening out like a fan!.
Just a few random ideas, it sounds a really interesting project, so good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like your idea of each scene in a small box!. If they are black and white silhouettes, go to copy store and ask that they be transferred onto clear laminate pages!. Then the white parts will become clear!. you can request that they shrink the copies down down to a smaller percentage( like 50 %) in order to make them fit on a poster board!. Then crop them into squares!. I think it would be cool if they were in squares and all together formed another image!. so depending on how many images you have you would have to present them in something like 9 images: 3 x 3, 12 images 4 x 4!. Then have 1 huge background that represents the core/essence of who a person really is!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
