Question: What nib should a beginner in calligraphy use!?
Someone gave me a whole lot of pen nibs a few years ago!. I thought I'd finally give it a try, but I cant afford a class right now!. I plan on getting some books tomorrow at the library!.

I was just wondering what folks in here suggested!.

For basic handwriting skills I would start with a C-2 or C-3 (Speedball) it's a medium or about 1/16 inch flat or chisel-end nib that's good for practicing!. If your nibs aren't Speedball, just use whichever flat-edged nib is comfortable for you!. The pointed and round-ended nibs are for drawing and different kinds of lettering!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
