Do NOT use one color!. While the above poster is correct, there are even some variations between people with platinum blonde hair (like Judy Holliday, Marilyn Monroe, Madonna or Eminem)!. Get a light blue, a white and a yellow!. Use white for the base color, the light blue for shadows (with an occasional dark streak) and a few strokes of yellow wherever you want the color to be warmer!. You'll get the hang of it eventually, but those are the basics: white or light gray for the base, blue for the shadows, yellow for near the highlights where you want to suggest a lot of color and warmth!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Platinum blonde hair isn't a yellow or brown based color!. It is closer to a silvery white!.
Experiment with light grays (dark grays look like senior hair), silvers and whites until you find a color you like!. It's Ok to mix a couple of colors to obtain the effect you want!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
