Question: Why do most girls my age like to draw anime!?
I've noticed that most girls in my grade, if they show a deep interest in drawing, chances are they draw anime!. Not that there's anything really wrong with that, but it's a style that, when in the wrong hands, looks horrible!. Plus, it's so popular it can get a little old, save for the occasional good show or movie!. (Miyazaki, for example!.) I don't draw this style, i'm in the process of trying to develop my own, I'm wondering why people my age, especially girls, find this particular style so appealing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well because its oversimplified and highly idealized!. Two things that appeal to young girls!. I got sucked into that phase myself, but then I got bored with it after a few months!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
you must be very young or in a low grade because you didnt say the element: your age, may be you should learn to write before you start draw!.

When I was 13 or so everyone was into drawing anime, too!.!.!. not sure if you're 13, but I'm just guessing!.!.!. it seems to be a trend with 13 year olds!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
