Like I said in my other question i've been taking pics for 2 years but i'm trying to get better at it!. How does these look!? please be bloody honest about them ;)

I liked the pink flowers the best against the dark background!. You should do some editing to the yellow one to bring out the color and make the full bloom the center of attention!. The other 2 I didnt care for; the 3rd one seems a little out of focus and the 4 is kinda boring!. The flower that is, not your quality of work!. But like I said the first 2 are great!. Once the weather changes try taking pics of flowers with an overcast sky!. The camera, film and meter handles it better!. Just some advice I got from a pro and it seems to work!Www@QuestionHome@Com So you have been taking pics for 2 years and you still can't get past doing flowers!? I probably can't think of one single thing on earth that is more boring than photos of flowers!. I'm not saying yours are bad, though there is nothing exceptional about them either!. It is just that so many people take photos of flowers!. It is so overdone and cliche and really displays NO imagination!. There is a big world out there!. Find something that is not so common to shoot!. steveWww@QuestionHome@Com Have you read any books on lighting!? The light on these is just a little harsh!. 1047 has some potential but the rest are just what anyone would go out and do!. I don't want to discourage you because you do seem eager to learn!. I would like to help but it is really hard to do it this way!. Go to amazon and get Bryan Peterson's book Understanding Exposure and start there!. Look up websites of photographers that you admire and study their work and see what makes there pictures special!. Check out Bill Lea he does great work in the Smoky Mountains, beautiful lighting on his shots!.!. he is a wonderful photographer and a great guy!. He has some awesome books on the market too!.Www@QuestionHome@Com They look good but honestly flowers are kinda boring!. Try something creative or something you don't see everyday!.
