Question: How do you make black and white pictures have color using GIMP!?
I'm sure this one was asked too many times already!.!.!.

So, I found a black and white picture and I wanted to have some color in it (make it like the rainbow, sort of)!. So is there anyway that I could do that!? Thanks!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

if image is already b&w , you can open image, create new layer, apply colours of choice, then adjust layer mode to overlay, and adjust transparency,
~ you can duplicate b&w layer to adjust contrast and apply color too selection areas if you want,
