To get this "look" without photoshop, take a picture at night or in very low light of something bright moving around (like the sparkler in the example pic that you linked to) – have your camera set to a slow shutter speed, but also use the flash to light the subject and part of the background!. (like the person) It's the slow shutter speed of the camera that causes the moving light to leave tracers and "glow" like that!. If you're not using a camera with manual settings, there may be a setting on your "point and shoot" camera that says something like "sl" next to the flash icon - which is basically giving you a slow shutter speed with flash in an automatic way!. your edit how to set the shutter,!.!.!.!.!.!.what camera you got!? did it come with a manual book!? if so look in the index for shutter speeds, some cameras can you can do it, some only the camera can do it, and i wont do it how you want it to!.!.!.!.!.!.

Painting with light! It's done by using a long shutter speed, 3 seconds or so!. Just think about when you were little and you'd try to write your name with sparklers on the 4th of July!.!.!.!.same principle, only the marks/writing is actully caught on film!. Pretty cool :)Www@QuestionHome@Com
