I may differ a little here with the crowd!. Not knowing the circumstances, but assuming you are over 18, I would say the chances are pretty good!. He may be just someone who is looking for experience and do add to his portfolio!. I have done this in the past with lot of success!. I was happy, the model was happy!. No money changed hands, just some time and photos!. This is called "Time for Prints" (TFP) or "Time for CD" (TFCD)!. Contrary to popular thinking, not everyone on the net is a mouth-breathing perv!. There are some which give a bad name to most anyone on here!.

I would bet that this photographer is using this "Social Networking" site for social networking!. But to be safe, feel the person out!. Ask the questions that need to be asked!. Bring a friend with you, meet before hand, ask for references!. If you want to do it, and thinks seem ok then do it!. If you get weird answers to your questions, wants you to come alone, will not provide references or a pre-meeting, then don't do it!.

Bottom line is we all have to start somewhere!. I have used the net for this and it has worked great for me, but I am serious about it and I conduct myself always in a professional manner!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Not very likely!. Most photographers who solicit on myspace are sleazyy!.

If they are a reputable photographer looking for models they will have a professional website, and probably post a blog saying what they need!. They will probably ask people they know to be models first!.

I'd be very scared if a random person found me through my personal myspace and wanted to take my photo!. If you do this please make sure you take your father, boyfriend, or someone with you!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Its probably a big load of crap!.
Maybe not, but probably its either a) a scam, eventually talk of payment will come up!.!.!. or b) an old horn dog perv who wants to molest you in the far far woods!.
Be careful, and take friends with you if you decide to go!.
btw, go to his myspace, have a look at his 'photography'!. Whats he asking you to do!? Ask him if he has a website!.!.!. look his business up on the better business bureau!.!.!. ask him for references!. There are many things you can do to protect yourself!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Oh, I'd have to say 100%!.!. But then ask your self!.!. What are his (her) motives !.!.!?!?

I would say a photo shoot IS being asked, but what kind and where!.!.!?

9 times out of 10 if it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is!. However, sometimes things are worth a few more looks, with care and caution!.!. and back up!.!.! Meaning other people with you IF you decide to meet!.

There ARE legit people out here, but the pervs have made everyone gun shy and I don't blame them!. I used to be able to use my camera and picture taking ability to meet people at many places, now when a camera comes out you can almost hear people shouting - GUN!.!.!.!

The offer is legit, the intentions may not be!. Approach with caution and NOT alone if you do!.!.
