For me it's fall because of all the leaves falling down and changing colors

It's not so much the time of the year as it is the time of the day!.!.!. that makes a difference!. Of course if your wanting Fall colors or the wild flowers of Spring, one has to be out in the proper time of year, however, the morning hours and later evening hours are the best times!.!.

There are 2 very quick moments in the day, 1 at early morning and the other later in the evening, the magic moment, where skylight and land light equal the same!. This lasts maybe 3 or 4 minutes!. One exposure can capture a LOT because every thing is a smooth blend of light!.

Contrast is low, but colors are great if watching what your shooting!. A city sky line with all the lights on!. A shore line with waves and maybe boats and / or a light house!. A lake or other scenic view from a higher ground!.

For me, it's any time of year, but it's the time of day I watch for the most!. The angle of the light and the rich colors it can have and the effect on your subject!.

Fall, hands down!. I especially love to go up to the north Georgia mountains to photograph the leaves change color!. But, that's so cliche at times to be honest!. So I mostly just go up there to see the color change rather than photograph it!. Fall is my favorite time of year in general!. But I really enjoy the winter as well because I like trees, specifically the imagery of trees without their leaves!. Black and white film LOVES winter!. The absence of color and vibrancy lends texture to black and white photographs not found in the summer or spring!. It gets better the further north you go!. I don't care much for summer - I live in the south and it's too damn hot to be out taking pictures!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It really doesn't matter to me!. I'll hike for miles in the dead of winter, or in the heat of summer, just to get a few shots of some of my favorite places!. Everything is constantly changing, and each visit will produce different results!. Photographing people is also a year-round activity!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Autumn!. The Columbia River Gorge in Oregon/Washington is one of the most beautiful places when the leaves start to turn!. The Blue Mountains in Eastern Oregon are also breathtaking in the fall!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i would have to say fall also, mostly due to the colors!. sunsets in fall are amazing!. but i also like summer for infrared photography!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I'll say fall as well, both for the color and the amazing light, but also I like to be outside in the crisp, cool weather!. I don't like hot weather too much!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
