Deviantart avatar problems?

Question: Deviantart avatar problems!?

so i have an avatar and its size is!. 50x50 (37x50) every time i upload it, it says the file is too big!? but im 100% sure its the right size!? whats wrong!?!?

its a jpeg image!. if that helps :D

Not only does your avatar have to be 50 x 50 pixels, but it also has to be 15 kb or under!. You have 37 x 50 px in parenthesis, it has to be a perfect square 50 pixel image, or dA will not take it - which is pretty hard to do considering most cameras do not have an aspect ratio that is square, so unless you crop the image it'll distort the aspect ratio if you make it square!. If you have photoshop, or some other editing program you can use the crop tool to get the image square!. Then change the image size to 50 x 50 pixels, then save as jpeg!. with the quality set to the lowest setting!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
