Question: How can I take a picture of something small while close up without it being blurry!?
I am trying to photograph spiders in their webs for a contest using a Canon Powershot a720, it is supposed to be a good camera for this kind of picture taking, but I have no idea what settings to use or anything, and my pictures are coming out fuzzy!. I am so new at this, and I have looked in my user's manual, but it really doesn't offer much help!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Look for the area on your camera where you can switch the setting/mode!. There should be an icon with a flower!. Set it to that!.
It should say that it is set on macro!.
Once it is on macro, go very close up to something like someone's eye or a flower!.
Hold the button halfway down until the picture is focused and not blurry!.
If it is still blurry you probably need to tweak the distance of the camera from the object!.
Take the photo once the focus is perfect!.

Too much motion can blur a picture also, so you may want to put the camera on a tripod

I looked at the specs of your camera and the macro focal length is 0!.4 inches!.!.!.!.!.so you can get pretty close without it being blurry!.!.!.!.just make sure you're shooting in macro mode (usually represented by a picture of a flower)!. It also may help to use a tripod of some other steady surface when shooting close up because the slightest movement will cause a blur!. Another thing you can do is decrease your shutter speed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
