Question: Studio photography!.!.!.!.!.what type of lense for a canon!? !?

Generally I would recommend prime lenses for studio photography!. I would say you look into the L series prime lenses!. 50mm f/1!.2 is a really sharp lens with great background blur to it, so you might want to give that a try!. also look into lenses in the range of 80-100mm!. 1!.6x crop basically means that whatever focal length on your lens you have on your camera will be multiplied by 1!.6!. So say you have a 50mm lens!. It would actually be 80mm on your camera because of the 1!.6x crop factor!. Basically when you look at the lens' focal length, multiply it by 1!.6!. Hope that helps, it's not a hard concept but it's rather hard to explain!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Anything with a focal length between 80-135mm!. If you have a Rebel, don't forget to calculate the crop factor which is 1!.6x!.

The Canon EF 50mm F1!.8 is good (and it's affordable)

The Canon EF 100mm F2!.8 is good too

So is the Canon EF 85mm F1!.8Www@QuestionHome@Com

I will highly recommend the 50mm f1!.4 USM!.

70 to 135mm lenses work well for portraits!. They allow the model to be far away enough from the camera so as to not invade personal space!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Canon EF 70-200mm f/2!.8 L USM Lens

you cant go wrong with this $1139Www@QuestionHome@Com
