I want to transfer a raised design...?

Question: I want to transfer a raised design!.!.!.!?

I am refurbishing my mother's bird feeders for her!. What would be the easiest way to transfer a raised (moth) design from a cermic piece to a painted metal roof on a b ird feeder!? I want to repeat the moth design on the roof but I don't think I can free hand paint it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You'll need:
Pencil
Paper

Take a paper to the raised design and rub the lead of the pencil to it!. It will pick up the design!. Then take a second piece of paper and just totally cover it thickly with lead, just scribble as much lead as needed to get it covered!. Turn the scribbled-pencil side against the roof and put the first paper with the design on top facing you!. Then take a sharpened pencil and trace the design that is on the paper!. The lead will smear off onto the roof, and you will faintly or definitely see (depending on how much lead) the design on the roof!. Take some paint and a thin brush and paint over the lead!.
