Legit photo contests?

Question: Legit photo contests!?

Does anyone know of any legit photo contests via mail or net!?

I entered one years ago when I was younger and my photo was chosen "They claimed it was going to be published in a book" but I lost the information!.

I like taking photos of animals, people and scenery!.

The best thing to do is join a photo club local to you, or an online community!. I belong to DSLR user and found that an incredible source of information, and even more so meeting up with other members!. There are other forums too!.

Look for the same in other Photography magazines!.

If you have a particular type of camera, there are some groups dedicated to that - I am also a member of the Olympus SLR users club!.
