Question: What portable device do you use for a digital portfolio!?
Oftentimes when I'm out shooting people will stop to talk me and ask to see samples of my work!. I'm tired of carrying prints around and then having to organize them so that the most applicable ones will be near the front!. I occasionally shoot film, but end up scanning my negatives/slides, so I've got a digital copy of everything!. I was thinking instead of carrying prints, I could load them up on an iPod Touch or an iPhone or something similar!. Then I could create different play lists for different situations!. Anybody out there doing something similar!? What device are you using!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

A device like the Epspn P-2000 (or a more recent model) is good for being able to copy your files from your CF card while in the field and can be used to display the photos as a digital portfolio as well!. However, if you are looking for a device to only display your photos, it's a bit expensive and bulky!.

The iPod Touch is smaller and thinner!. If you are considering alternatives, Archos has the 605 WiFi and 705 WiFi and Creative has the X-Fi and Zen!. I've been using an iPod Touch for a little while now!. They've recently announced a new model with lower prices, so it should even be more appealing!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have an Epson P2000 photo viewer that I use in the field to backup files after shooting but it also works well as a portfolio in the field to show people pictures!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
