Good enough for a portfolio?

Question: Good enough for a portfolio!?

Is this charcoal drawing too unfinished to be in my portfolio (for entrance into an art college- NOT a job)!? It's supposed to be a slightly crumpled piece of paper on a desk, in the dark, with light shining on it!.

To put it Bluntly no!. There's no form, you can't tell what the subject is!. It doesn't show your knowledge of any basic principles!. If you can't keep working on this one you'll have to start a new one or find another subject!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
