Question: Do u know everything about ceramics!?
Well I don't!. Could you tell me everything!. Like whats the different stages of the clay!. And whats all the different glazes, and what are they used for!. Theres this stuff that I dipped my pot in and I think it's some type of glaze!. Not for sure!. It looks really shiny and pretty!. I did that after it was fired once!. But then I used what it think is called an underglaze one time and it hadn't been fired yet!.!. Not for sure!. Don't even know the difference!. Could you tell me everything there is to know about ceramics!. Im in my first ceramics class and it's been kind of hard to follow everything!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

well im taking it right now and im a sophmore in high school!. well i don't know everything, but you make the shape then let it sit, then it gets"leathery" then it gets "Bone dry" if you have alot of decorations that might brake off, fire it then underglaze, but if not then just put the underglaze and fire,but put 3 coats on!. then put the glaze on, when we did it it was pink, and thats all weve gotten to!. weve made a pinch pot, and now im making a pinch pot monster!.!.!. dont know if anything i said is right, but thats what my teacher said!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
no I don't know everything about ceramics!. Neither is there enough space here to write down all I do know about ceramics!. If you want to know more about ceramics in general term, go to the library, go to the arts/crafts sections and take out a couple of books about ceramics and read them!.
Or if you want answers here, ask a much more specific question!.
by the way, glaze contains glass, underglaze does not!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
