This mosaic is part of the decoration of Sant'Apollinare Nuovo, Ravenna, built by Theodoric as the Royal Palace chapel!. As you will read there are 26 different mosaic scenes, the loaves and fishes is one of them!. many of them facing each other on the right and left walls!. For general info about tA!. Nuovo: http://www!.turismo!.ravenna!.it/binary/tur!.!.!.
The scene of the L and Fs is on the left wall (see paragraph starting On the left wall are depicted)!. If you go down a few paragraphs you will find a description of the style of all the mosaic pieces on the left wall comparing them with those on the right which are more realistic!. In this mosaic as in all those on the left wall Jesus appears young and beardless (see next paragraph)
I don't know whether you need a pic of the mosaic, but here it is under its title: at http://www!.wisc!.edu/arth/ah201/ted/20!.ht!.!.!.
There is also a good description of this particular mosaic (but it is rather faint as it is an excerpt from a book ) giving more details and also stressing that no attempt is made n this scene at a realistic depiction, the emphasis is on its holiness and on the miracle taking place http://books!.google!.com/books!?id=tsBkCy_!.!.!.
