Art is very subjective, so while I might see his works as art (which I think they are, by the way) you might see it as trash! I was very sorry that I never went to see his Tiger Shark in formaldehyde when I was in London!. Of course, as others have stated, it helps having your works accepted and selling them for millions of pounds when your name's Damien Hirst! In the end, if I had that much money to spend on a piece of artwork, I wouldn't buy one of his!.Www@QuestionHome@Com The thing about it is that it is supposed to challenge our perception of the art/life relationship!. It's supposed to shock us!. And obviously it's done that with you !.!.!.!.!. Take it for what it is, not for some notion that art is only about representing beauty!. Art is no longer about that, there is so much more to it than that, you can do anything, as long as it and you are credible!. When Monet, Manet and all the others started doing their thing as Impressionists, the art world was shocked, because it didn't fit in with their perception of 'art'!. Honest to God, how much talent does it take to stab a piece of offal!?
