Andy Goldsworthy...help!?

Question: Andy Goldsworthy!.!.!.help!!?

For an assignment in art class, I'm suppose to be creating something that has something to do with Andy Goldsworthy!. I know most of his work has something to do with nature, like rocks, leaves, branches, etc!.!.!.but I just don't know what to create!. I don't want to copy him, but I just don't know what to use to make this assignment!. Any ideas!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Then go out into the countryside, a forest, or near water, and construct a "walking"trail with various 'stops" comprising little sculptures made from materials found in Nature: e!.g!. sand, leaves, stones!. e!.g!. A snake like object made of sand, a humped bridge formed from stones, a circle of pebbles, leaves piled up in a heap etc!. Photograph what you have made!. I don't know how much time you have got!. But leave your sculptural trail for at least a day or two, and then rephotograph the simple structures you have made, checking if there are changes in their appearance due to the weather, or perhaps even the interference of animals!.or people!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Goldsworthy is an 'Environmental Sculptor' usually that means working with nature, but environmental sculpture is working with the environment in which you find yourself!. Go outside, and start arranging things the way your mind might like to see them!. If you find a pile of sticks, clump them together from smallest to biggest, or by color, or by texture, or in the shape of one big stick!. Art is about expression!. When you look into your minds eye, you can see your feelings as sculptures!. You might see marble or bronze, or abstract painted metal, but if you're working within the structure of environmental sculpture use the limitation to your advantage!.
