There are 2 ways I can think of offhand:

Layers! Most of Photoshop's true power lies here!. Add a second layer on top of your main image [or beneath] and place your texture there!. Then in the Layers palette you can fool with the opacity and blending!. For the colorization, add a fill or adjustment layer to shift color!.

Second possibility [and the worst if overused]: use the Texturizer filter [under Filter>Texture]!. You can use stock textures, or load your own, but they must be grayscale photoshop files!. Store them in your plugins folder under Displacement Maps for ease of access!.

On the top tool bar where it says FILE, EDIT etc: CLick the button that says FILTER Then click Texture there will be a bunch of options!. Once you click one it will open a box that will show folders that say artistic, brushstrokes, etc!. Look trough those and you can find the one you like!. I dont no whcih one to click that will give you the effect like in the picture!. Hope i helped!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
