Istock buying help ?

Question: Istock buying help !?

I am building a website for a small private business!. I saw a few photos in Istock!.com that I would like to download!. They are worth 5 credit each!.
Does this mean that after I buy credits, pay for it and download it!.!.!.I could use them on my website for ever!?!?!? can I modify the image with photoshop!?!?!? I tried to read the license agreement - but I am mentally challenged for all that legal stuff!.!.!.thanksWww@QuestionHome@Com

If you're talking about istockphoto!.com, then basically -- once you pay and download them, you can use them on your website for as long as you like!. AS LONG AS IT'S NOT IN A TEMPLATE THAT YOU RE-SELL to numerous clients (if you're a web designer)!. also, if you want to use the images in another way, ie print materials, you should purchase the photo again for that purpose!.

Usually, you can alter a stock photo (ie, colors, hue/saturation, general alterations, make them black and white, etc!.) and be fine!. In fact, many stock photos are meant to be pieces in a larger collage work (ie: photo borders and frames, art elements, etc!.)!. However, you shouldn't alter a photo -- especially if it has a person in it -- to show that person in a negative way or use it to promote obscene, immoral, pornographic type things!.
