I use CS3 for processing my RAW image files from both my D300 and D3!. My experience with Photoshop made it difficult from me to learn Lightroom well enough to leave Photoshop!.

I use Photoshop's Bridge to batch append all the EXIF data on shoots!. Copyright notice, my contact information, subject or client information and key words!. I can append 350 images in under 15 minutes!.

The only other thing I use Photoshop for is to convert image files in to excellent black and white image files!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Lightroom is only a Raw converter and cataloguing package!. Its very unstable on my PC though this may have been cured in Lightroom 2!.

Photoshop does all this and a whole lot more, the trouble is it does so much it is hard to learn, and is expensive!.

Bridge is part of Photoshop and is probably the best cataloguing tool around with hidden depths, it can play most every kind of video for instance (it has all the codex'es built in)!.

The industry standard image processor for both photographers and graphic/web designers is Photoshop!. Things don't become an industry standard by accident!. Although I am unfamiliar with Lightroom I have used many generations of Photoshop and would not hesitate to recommend it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I use CS2 photoshop, which is only a bit less comprehensive than cs3, but it really is good!. I have no complaints (other than the price)!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have the adobe cs2 but i hear that the cs3 is also great too!. I don't know much about lightroom 2!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

CS3, align with the world and you will find lots more help!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
