Question: Do these paintings have linear perspective or atmospheric!?
I'm having a little trouble understanding the difference between linear perspective and atmospheric perspective!.!. (my teacher says that you should look for a horizon line in a linear perspective, and you should look for values become blue/grey as the objects recede into the distance with an atmospheric perspective, but if a painting has a horizon line with blue mountains behind it, what perspective does the painting have!?)

Do these paintings have linear perspective or atmospheric perspective or any other perspective I'm not thinking of!?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
1 - linear (atmospheric is a little vague because of the saturated colour used), 2 - both, from what I can see, though atmospheric is more obvious, 3 - atmospheric!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Hi,

These paintings are very poor examples of a perspective, not linear anyways, there is some atmospheric pers!. in them but poorly depicted too, I've done some Urban Landscapes with linear perspective, you can check em out if you like, - Daniel
