I'm not sure, I'm afraid, as I've never had this error, but I suggest that you ask this on Autodesk's official Max forums or somewhere where there are likely to be more people familiar with the problem, like http://forums!.cgsociety!.org/ !. I don't think you will find anyone with specific enough knowledge here!.
