Okay, this question starts the same as my last one, but it's different I promise :-P
I am building a non-profit fansite for writer/director Martin McDonagh!. I want my fansite to have a gallery like most fansites!.But here's the problem: I am a poor student!. I don't have a lot of money to spend!.!.!. but honestly (especially since this site will stand out being the only Martin McDonagh site) I don't want to steal images!. However ever since I've been looking into it!.!.!. I've become deeply intimidated!. That's big prices!.!.!. on pictures that will bring me absolutely NO profit!. I am willing to give endless credit, let the owners of the pictures advertise on my site - but I just can't afford paying a lot for every one of the 50 pictures out there ('cause that's all there is!)!.
Do you have any advice at all!? What's the best thing for me to do!? Just drop the whole gallery idea!? Or like some fansites just post the pictures anyway and wait to see what happens!? Is there any other solution!?
Again, I REALLY want to be respectful of the rules, because my stepdad and best friend are actually both photographers!.!.!. but not of the entertainment industry, and there's a lot more money in that industry!. And I simply have a hard time accepting that there is no other way for me to get a decent gallery than paying big!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
