Question: School Photos!!? Help!.!.!.!?
I have registration today and this is when we get our photos done for yearbook/student card!. I am not the most photogenic girl in the world, so I wanted some tips and tricks about how to make this picture turn out well!
Here's some details on what I look like!.!.!.
-Chinese/White
-Dark brown, chin length hair
-Big dark brown eyes
-For make-up, I usually wear chapstick, a bit of eyeliner on the top lid, a light pearly shadow and mascara
What colour should I wear (that isn't brown) and just any tips on how to pose/smile would be much appreciated! THANKS!

I am a commercial print model - so I definitely have a few tips for you!.
First of all, you need to realize that you will be in front of studio lights for this photo!. They are very bright lights!. So, you need to make your make up a shade darker so it will show up!. If you wear it like normal, you will be washed out and it won't look like you have any make up on!.
As far as posing, the photographer should help you out!. But I can tell you do not get in front of the camera an face it straight on!. Turn your face a little to the left or right, while keeping your eyes focused to the front!. Lots of times you need to change off your shoulders vs!. your waist and hips vs!. your head!. I know it sounds weird!.!.!.!. So, sit in the chair and point your knees slightly off to the left!. Then keep your shoulders straight, and move your head to the right!. So you have each of these joints of yours are facing a different way, which gives a great composition to the photo!.

well a genuine smile always makes a picture better!! dont try to fake it just think of somethin that makes ya smile!.!.!.and ur makeup sounds cute and not too overdone i think u should keep it but add a little blush or gloss!.!.!.and for clothes i think a cute little cropped jacket over a simple tank would look cute ;) Www@QuestionHome@Com
This is going to be published in the yearbook so look nice!. Wear a good matching outfit not a T-shirt!. Have your hair done if you can!. Smile and smile some more!. Not too much makeup, just enough to bring out your beauty!.

practice your smile in the mirror and find the angle you look best at! use tricks to memorize thaat poze!. Right before they flash the camera go through things in your head like "eyes, (not sleepy looking etc)- smile, (big but the too big etc!.) and if you don't like your teeth then just to a relaxed closed lip smile!. Don't slouch!. Wear something that is you!. If you don't wear tanks normally, then don't wear one for your photo!.
