Question: Why did my clay turn orange!?
I sculpted something out of white Fimo clay and fired it at 225*F for 20 minutes in the toaster oven!. The piece turned orange!.!.!. What happened to it!? I'm a little new to polymer clay crafting, so I'm still trying to get the hang of firing!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

The temperature for Fimo, I believe, is 265F!. Premo is 275F for 30 minutes per 1/4" thickness!. My guess is that your toaster oven 'spiked' and the temperature went way beyond what is safe!. Toaster ovens are not the best thing to bake the clay in!. If you have a regular oven, use that as long as the temperature is accurate!. That is crucial!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
