This a cubist painting!. That means that the artist doesn't paint his picture from one angle only!. He paints it from several viewpoints!. For example, the hat and coat in the background is seen from a frontal view, while the billiard board is titled, the balls suspended on it!. Like all 'good' cubist paintings he has put into his picture only the objects he wanted and placed them wherever seemed right!. Look at the ornamental lights; and the abacus in the background!. So your answer the artist depicts the room from different angles at the same time!. Not putting in everything he sees, but only objects or parts of objects which catch his fancy and he positions them wherever he likes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
