Question: Making a photocopy into a photograph!?
A couple of years ago I was given a colour photocopy (good quality) of a photograph, the photocopy had been enlarged to size A3 and is still in good condition as I have kept it rolled up inside a empty kitchen roll tube, if I take it to a good chemist like Boots will they be able to make it into a proper photograph again, also reduced to the size of a normal photograph (about 5 inch by 7 inch), if they can how long will it take and how much would it cost !?!?
I know that I could probably scan it myself and try to reduce it and print it on photo paper but I don't have a scanner and I would like it done properlyWww@QuestionHome@Com

I would say scan it in, and then go to jessops or kodak website, they sell prints and do different sizes!. You could go to a library or somewhere that has a scanner to scan it in and save it!. You could try taking a picture of it but the quality won't be as good!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Maybe not somewhere like Boots but maybe a professional photographers or printers!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I doubt Boots would have such facilities, but if you take it to an independent photography developers they may be able to produce you a flat copy!. If you dont have scanning facilities do you have a digital camera!? As long as you get even lighting (outside on a slightly overcast day would be good) and dont throw your own shadow over the top as you lean over, you should be able to take a reasonable quality photograph which you can then treat as any other photo!.

If you do it this way, take the highest resolution photo you can, as the photocopy itself will have a limited resolution and you probably dont wish to degrade the image further!.

if you find a place to have this done they will probably charge you a premium, but the small size you wish will save on printing costs!. If you do it this way ensure they give you a digital jpeg of the image they made, then you can have it reproduced as many times as you wish!. :-)Www@QuestionHome@Com
