Question: How to become a better photographer!?
I am wanting to become a better photographer!. I am moving out on my own soon!. And I want to take some real good pictures and put them on my wall!. My aunt and I are going to get our pictures taken with each other and I am not sure if we should get it in black and white or color!. Anyone have some ideas on what color I should use!?

If you have a digital camera, take it with you wherever you go!. You never know when a photo opportunity will present itself and if you don't like the picture you took, you can just delete it!. Depending on the kind of photography you like, try setting up shoots yourself!. If you like portraiture, get some friends or family to pose for you!. Just get a simple backdrop that can be a sheet you hang from the wall, or a plain wall and get some lamps from around your house and pose them at different heights around the person to change the lighting on their face!. If the light's too strong, you can make cheap filters by taping a white piece of paper over the bulb!. Just be innovative!. Keep practising and take lots of pictures until you feel you have gotten pretty comfortable with that particular subject, then try another!.
As far as whether you should shoot in black and white or color, my theory is - depending on the equipent you have- you can always change a color print into black and white, but you can't change a black and white into color!.
Hope this helped + good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Take a photo course at your local community college if you can!. If not, play w/ subjects ideas and take photos of things you like!. I'm a big fan of black and white photos!. If you can, mat and frame your photos to add to the artsy appeal!. Don't be afraid to get up close to objects or take crazy angles on things!. You'll get some cool shots!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Join a local camera club, it's inexpensive and a great source for improving your photography skills!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
