Art drawn with a pencil is generally classified as just that, a "drawing"!. It can be in the form of a portrait (any still life drawing, but especially of a person), a sketch (generally a rougher, less detailed "roughing out" of an idea), a landscape, etc!. It is also sometimes called line art because it is based on lines drawn with a pencil, charcoal, ink, whatever the chosen media is, rather than brushstrokes, which would classify the art as painting!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
