Question: Question About Sculpey III!?
I am going to make a Dragon (most likely Chibi) and I was wondering: Should i glaze it!? Normally i don't even use glaze because it takes a while to get Dry ( so ive heard) The figure is going to be at least 3 inches tall and wide, if not more than that!. And what kind of glaze for the sculpey III clay should I use if i do decide to use it!? I know that this is a lot of questions, but thx in advance

Hi, I hope that I can help you out with your Sculpey dragon project!.
Please be careful to use the correct Sculpey clay for your project!.
The name 'Sculpey' is a 'brand name' of polymer clays!. Sculpey makes many types of clay, some stronger than others!. For this reason I would suggest that you use Sculpey's 'Premo' clay for your dragon!. It is much stronger!. SculpeyIII is very brittle after baking and thin areas, such as dragon toes, will break off!. That won't happen with Premo!. When you are creating your dragon you can use rolled up aluminum foil in the middle to cut down on the amount of clay that you need!.
Glaze: You can purchase glaze made especially for the clay, in either a shiny finish or a dull (matte) finish!. However, if you just want a 'shiny' finish, just use Future Floor Finish!. It's very inexpensive and
will help protect your project!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
