It will go away!. That happened to me before!. But go to your doctor and check your hearing as soon as you can!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

And that, my friend, is why you're supposed to light firecrackers on the ground and back away!.!.!. not throw them!.

You probably did some moderate damage to your ear drum!. It'll most likely heal up over the next few days, and be good as new!. If it doesn't, though, you may want to consider a trip to the doctor!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Go to the doctor anyway and have it checked and just deal with your mom being angry!. It could be a perforated ear drum!. My husband had a friend who was fooling around throw a small firecracker at his head when he was about 12!.
Unluckly it went off about 2 " away from his left ear and perforated the ear drum he has about 15% or less hearing in that ear !. Really he is pretty deaf in his left ear!. He didn't lose his hearing right a way it took a few days but he didn't want to tell his dad or mom!. He was afraid to tell like you!. By the time he had to explain to his folks why he couldn't hear out of his left ear it was too late he had already lost his hearing!. He hasn't been able to hear much of any thing out of that ear for 45 years!. It's not worth it, tell your mom make an appointment and get yourself to an ear doctor and have your hearing checked ASAP!. Hope you are ok and you didn't do to much damage!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
