I keep a vignetting filter I made myself with a piece of glass and nail polish in my camera bag!. I have a gradient for overly bright skies and always have my polarizing filter!.

In the days of film I had every color and type you can imagine, rainbow star burst, color flow, soft focus for portraits,etc!. They were inexpensive and lots of fun!. Today, what I can't do with my few filters I do on computer!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Check out these guys!.!.!. They can reduce the # of filters you need by 80 to 90% not to mention the different sizes for different lenses!.!.!.
