Question: Indoor party photos!.!.!.!.!.how to take good ones!?
Hi all!. I'm going to be taking some pictures at an indoor wedding shower later today and I'd like ANY pointers to make sure they come out nice!. I'm not taking any posed shots or anything, I'm kind of just documenting the occasion!. Any opinions welcome! Thanks!

PS-I'll be using a P&S, nothing special!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

For close up shots use the flash, but for shots that aren't too close, turn the flash off and leave the camera on automatic!. Try not to use the optical zoom as this lets less light get into the lens, and your pictures are more likely to come out blurred or grainy!.

You might find that the pictures aren't as good as you get outdoors!. This is because there is less light, so the camera turns up the 'ISO', which increases the sensor sensitivity!. As a result of this, pictures become more grainy!. also, the shutter is open for longer, so any handshake or people moving will result in blurred pictures!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Don't expect anything amazing from your P&S if the lighting is a little dim!.

Make sure to turn on every light you possibly can, open curtains, etc!. Place yourself and anybody who might be posing (rather than candid) in the best possible light!.

Use a tripod or at the very least lean against something, tuck your elbows in, take a deep breath in, and take the photos as you slowly exhale!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
