well i would say a little but no cause their basicly cartoons but a little more advance but yes cartoons are drawings but not really artwork cause art expresses the artists feelings through imagery and naruto probably doesn't express **** van gough expressed himself throught the different flowers he painted so overall!.!.!.not reallyWww@QuestionHome@Com

actually anime and manga are considered one kind of art!. however, many people loves anime and manga to the point where they give limits and requirements on how anime and manga should look like!. the most common idea is the "chibi" form of anime!. many people will probably say the size of the body needs to be "three heads" tall!. or the eyes need to be a certain look!. so you can say anime and manga is art as long as you believe there are no limits to this kind of drawing!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Mhmm, anything and everything is art, there are no limits!.
Most who are snobby enough[no offense] to say otherwise aren't really true artists, simply close-minded and presumptuous!.
And a response to the first, plenty of anime stuff has hell of a lot more depth than that!.

hell no it's not it is the cheapest, easiest form of drawing and it is totally stupid the style has like 2 shades of color!.!.!.light and a little darker real art has real depthe and detail like this:

I think it is!. But if it were done I would suggest them not doing fanart because you can't sell fanart!. It's against copyright laws and such!. But if it were done from your own piece of manga, like for instance if the character was only done by the artist and no one else!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
