There is nothing wrong with your lines!. They look hand drawn and, that's the point of the digital tablet, to put your hand drawings directly into the computer!.

The problem with many of those just getting introduced to the tablets and computer drawing tools is that people expect instant expertise in their use, and, that the moment they plug it in and start to use them, that, somehow, the computer will do the work for them!.

Let me ask you, how long did it take you to learn to draw with a pencil!? I'll be it took months, if not longer!. It's no different with a stylus and a pen tablet!. It will take many hours of practice to get your freehand drawing skill as good as your pencil and paper skills!.

There ARE tools available, in Photoshop, to make smooth lines, but, these steps take a LOT longer than drawing lines freehand!. If you WANT to use these features in Photoshop, then spend a few MORE hours learning about the "paths" tool, and how to convert paths to lines!. This works very well, but it is NOT an easy tool to get used to!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't suppose you want to hear this but don't you dare!. Your drawings have a lot of life and the waviness is part of the charm!.

Have you considered a vector drawing program!? I started with Aldus Freehand (eventually bought by Adobe, Sigh)!. These days everyone talks about Adobe Illustrator which I can't stand!. Fortunately I can stand and occasionally can submit pictures I do in it (because it has the ability to save to compatible file formats) the Open Source program Inkscape:

Use the Beziere drawing tool in either Inkscape or Illustrator and you will learn an awful lot!.

But you should keep these up!. The wavy lines are part of the charm!.

Sigh!. I'm sorry if you don't want to hear it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Try lining with smaller lines for the most part!.!.!. also, I don't know what program you're using, but I use open canvas for lining!. The brushes are much smoother!.

also, I sketch out my drawing first and then zoom in to line it!.

What kind of tablet are you using!? Www@QuestionHome@Com

I have a tablet, and what i use for straight lines is actually a ruler, which really helps for me!.
Or if the program lets you like Flash or Paint you can hold shift which keeps the line straight!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
