Question: What do you think or my paintings!?
These are not my best pieces!.
But these are the only images I have of my artwork!.
I got a D at A-level on thursday and am pretty upset, but I just want opinions from people in the art world who know what they are talking about, I'm not looking for praise just an opinion!.
I've put links to an artists copy of th scream by Edvard Munch and an original that was towards my final piece!.

Your color schemes are great!. Subject matter is kinda boring!. Maybe more to them would be more interesting!. Your talent is obvious but the choices might need work!. Your freedom of strokes and knowing when a painting is finished is something I envy!.!.I'm not all that good at being more free with my art!.!.!.Keep at it you are doing fantastic!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
If I knew your age I could give you an impartial answer - and you do have to remember that your grade was not soley based on these 2 works of art - teachers/professors look at work ethic and amount of work produced as well!.
I'd say if you are in middle school you did a nice job!.
If you're in a beginning level course in high school you could have done a better job!.
Advanced course in high school, teachers expect a lot more (address the background more for the bench painting, and REALLY study what you're looking at when reproducing The Scream!.!.!.)

Mary if you are over 13 find an other hobby!.!.!.this is hopelessly amateur!. The chair is poorly rendered, the background nebulous and the composition boring!. Do you understand light at all!? If you must continue!.!.!.study Itten on color!.!.!.then take some basic drawing classes until you learn how light effects shapes!. Learn to see, not just look!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
