What scanning software would you recommend me?

Question: What scanning software would you recommend me!?

I already have "VueScan Professional Edition" but before installing it, I would like to know other scanning softwares out there that has quality scans! I need a really good one for scanning my drawings!.

I'm using "HP Deskjet F380 All-in-One series" as my scanning device!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Use the software that you already have to capture the image!.

Most of the eventual work to be done will be in the graphics application you are using, such as in Photoshop!.

Unless I am scanning for archives, I tend to import my scans directly into Photoshop via the TWAIN feature!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Vince M is right!. And if you don't have Photoshop go get it!. It will work WITH VueScan which is the software you should use for your operating system!. I use sane but I am on Linux!. You will have to do some retouching and I STRONGLY recommend using Photoshop!. Gimp doesn't have a lot of hooks for commercial printing and I've driven fifty miles each way to rent a computer with Photoshop on it!. Both have hooks which will let you import a scan using your scanning software!. And VueScan is as good as you will get for your scanner!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
