I think that white and black would be excellent with silver because you'd have a range of values to play with!. With this combo I'd love to see a splash of red, but I think that any bright color would do!. Does it have to be limited to 3!? If so, use the canvas as your white!.

silver is a neutral color and can be grouped with any 2 colors as long as those 2 blend well together!.

for example
silver, white, black
silver, red, black
silver, hot pink, neon green

In the masters painting they often use blue and purple with silver!.

But I think silver mach any color!.
Like silver ring for any close fashion!.
