Well it's basicly placed in 2043 in the Ghost in the Shell SAC Universe!. But the storyline is a little different but here's what it is about:
Matou Traunka has been dead for years but on one stormy night two lightening strikes hit Matou's coffin!. One hit's on the head and heart!. Forming a unique ghost!. While wandering around places, Matou falls into a digital screen and dissapears!. He finds hime self in a cyber,digital universe!. And as he wanders around in there, he falls out again!. But this time he is see-able!. He is a unique human,cyber, creature!. Matou asks a man in a cafe where he is!. The man says he's in the city of New Port!. That's where he lived when he died!. So Matou sends off to see if his parents still lives in his original house!. Actually they did!. Matou barges right in!. His parents were sitting there watching tv!. Then his mom notices and screams and panics!. The dad told her to calm down and go into the kitchen!. Matou's dad explains everything what happens nowdays!. Matou had a little brother back then too!. He dissapeared when he was 13!. Matou then leaves to see what has changed in the past years!. While walking in a crowded zone he see's two guy fighting over a can of vetables!. It starts to get into a fist fight!. Brave Matou went to split them up!. Matou did it in many fighting styles he never even knew he had!. A woman with purple hair and red violet eyes comes up to him!. (Guess who :)
She says her name which is Major Motoko Kusanagi and she says that what he did was incredible!. She asks him if he's like to be recruited as a new member of Section 9 because everybody else retired and went into the net except Batou,Major,and Togusa!. Matou was up for anything so he decided to go with it!. Besides he wanted an exciting job when he grew up!. (Even though he's 14!.) She also asks what his name is!. He says it and gasps!. She took Matou's hands and went to an empty alley!. She asks him if he had a brother!. He said he had a brother!. Well she said that his brother is a hacker that hacks into people's minds and controls them like a puppet!. He is in shock!. And so the rest of the time Matou is now recruited as a Section 9 member and works with 4 other people including one that turns out to be Saito's son!. This is because when Saito went to Africa in the events in Solid State Society, he met a woman!. He secretly got married and had a kid!. His name is Musashi!. Musashi carry's on his dad's sniper buissness in Section 9!. Saito's wife died in a car crash!. Musashi was in it too, but he got a newly cyborg body and now lives as a cyborg!. It turns out that Saito wasn't a fully cyborg!. also Musashi turns out to be best friends with Matou!. He is partnered with him!. I forgot to mention that Chief Aramaki retires too!. And the new Chiefs are Major,Batou,and Togusa!. The new members of Section 9 are named:
