I have been an artist my entire life and have taught drawing for 13 years!.
When I started to teach, I thought that you had to have an inborn talent, but as time went on, I realized that talent is not the important thing!. To be able to draw, you need a strong desire to master the techniques!. I've had students that couldn't draw when the came to my classes and were sure they never would, and now are award winners in national exhibits!. I teach them to see the 4 basic shapes that are in all things!. The cube, the cone, the cylinder and the ball, learn to draw them separately then see them combined in all 3D forms!. With much practice and desire, you'll be successful!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

It all depends on the person!.!.!. however, you need to see things in a different way to have a realistic drawing!. For example, you need to be able to look at something and see where the light is coming from, and where the shadows are!. also, in most cases, more than one color is involved in an object, so you must be able to tell what the undertones are in it!. I do think you need to see things in a different way!.

Sorry if it's confusing, it's hard to explain!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Drawing is a talent some people are naturally born with!.

Like maths and music, while it can be taught, not everyone can do it well, or as naturally as someone with the talent!.

For me, I just sometimes come up with a picture in my head, and have to put it on paper!. I'm also very observative, but see objects and things exactly how they are, and draw them that way!.

when i draw i don't think about what i'm drawing, i just let the pencil take over and roll with it!.
you have to stay loose and just have fun with it!. if your not into what your drawing, there's really no point in drawing it!. so i always find something i'm interested in!. like i love to skateboard, so i go to the skate park and take pictures of my friends and then go home and draw it!. it just makes the finished piece that much more special when your done!.

try doing blind contour, its fun, just grab a pencil and paper, find something to look at, and draw it, but DON'T look at the paper, hence the word "blind" contour!. its just a fun way of helping you stay loose and to also kinda gives you a feel for what drawing is!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

For some its practice and more practice!. For others its a talent-they are born with it and it runs in the family!. My grandmother went to the Chicago Art institute, my mother did scientific illustration and fabric design, I am a mural artist-but having a talent is like anything else-it does you no good without the practice and learning one gets in schools etc!. I have a degree in graphics, and one in Fine Art and one in design-and like Most artists-I still am working at it!. I am lucky to have been accepted to shows and sold my fine art as well as working in the decorative art field for 30 years!. Many artists are much better than me-many are not!. I find I get ahead with a lot of study-self pushing and business sense!. As well as diversity in my abilities!. I think you have to have at least an interest and a simple skill to get you started and keep you going!. Its like singing-no matter how many times you try out-Idol may never take you!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You need to want to draw!. you also need to focus on the object, or the person, that you are going to draw, and you will be able to do it too!. Try with something simple, and once you succeed, you will be pleasantly surprised Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't think in a unique way, I don't think!. I just have a drive for it!. If you want to draw and enjoy doing it whether it comes out good or bad, then you'll be able to keep on practicing and become a good artist!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

no reason at all!
people say i am good at drawing, but i never really set out to draw i just might start doodling a flower and it will end up as a design for an elaborate wedding gown!.
You can learn to draw to!.
