It's done with masking and multiple exposures in the darkroom - along with great skill!. No Photoshop required!.

As said, the photographer is Jerry Uelsmann!. Uelsmann did not use Photoshop! Uelsmann is predigital! He used mutltiple negatives and composited them together in the darkroom!.

Amazing how most people think that Photoshop is the key to creating great photographs!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You could achieve a similar result by rendering clouds, some masking and cut/pasting a round object and messing with the gradients!. It wouldn't look as alive as that photo tho!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

soem who knows how to use photoshop!.!.!.its actually quite simple, you just put one picture onto another by using a tool that can drag the picture over when you have both of them open
