How do i set my nikon d40 to 'bulb' mode?

Question: How do i set my nikon d40 to 'bulb' mode!?

i set it to manual, but i dont know how to set it to bulb!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Move the dial on top to M (manual)!. Then rotate the command wheel by your thumb left until it passes 30" and says bulb on the back display!.or in the viewfinder (whichever you prefer)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Turn the dial on top of the camera until it says bulb or B in the viewfinder or LCD screen!. You will see shutter speed times!. It should be one notch after the 30 second setting!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
