Make sure they're in 2 separate layers then put the pic you want above (in the layers pallet) the background pic!. Then turn the opacity of the layer a bit & erase around the object & then duplicate the layer & make sure the original layer of the picture (the duplicated pic) is active then go to filters>blur>gassian blur & set the blur to some where between 1 & 3 mess around with the blur till the pic looks like it belongs!.
