You might end up cutting part of the head off, but that makes the eyes the focus of the photograph, and makes the photo look much more professional!. Watch for the placement of the rule of thirds and the eyes!. refer to the example of the acqua di gio ad i posted!. His head is cut off, but the eyes follow the rule of thirds for closer shots of people!. best of luck to you!Www@QuestionHome@Com oh, come on kid!. you aren't that new to photography!.!.!. it those are truly your images they are pretty good!. deviant loads slowly here and i'm not joining it (just yet) to get it to load faster so i didn't look real close to nitpik and really give you an honest opinion!. from what i saw of the thumbnails they are fairly well composed and not badly exposed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I can see what you were trying to do, and in some respects it worked!. the things that didn't work for me are: the backdrop; don't know if you were trying to capture the wrinkles and creases!? there is a dark area in the upper right where your back drop was being supported maybe!? sticks out like a sore thumb!. I like the color scheme!. I'd lose the bracelet!. doesn't work with pale skin and black and red!. the pose also looks uncomfortable!. all minor things and all things that can be remedied easily!. the more you practice the more anal you will become about (everything)Www@QuestionHome@Com 1!. Veil is the best!. The scarf really makes the picture look good to me!. It is the color contrast!. 2!. Mixed veil!. Same theme as the first!. 3!. Details of a flower!. The picture is good but the picture should be much larger so the detail comes out just as the name implies!. 4!. Dark!. not bad but you cut the elbows off and that hurts the picture!. 5!.
