The definition of marble is, "limestone that is more or less crystallized by metamorphism, that ranges from granular to compact in texture, that is capable of taking a high polish, and that is used especially in architecture and sculpture!." As you can see, the definition of marble states that marble is "capable of taking a high polish" which would appear 'shiny'!. So to answer your question, no marble is not naturally shiny!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Well, it does have some natural shine to it, but if you're talking about the almost mirror-like finish you see on tiles and sculptures, no!. That's not natural!. It has to be polished to look like that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

no!.
Only after the surface is polished!. If you want shine you need to go to a fairly small grit!. Easier to apply floor polish on top to smooth out tiny irregularities and shine the floor polish!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
