Question: How to make an art assignment look unique and exciting

I have been asked to write something on the 'elements and principles of design'!. Now i have typed down the stuff required on a paper!.!. I want to give this paper a bit artistic touch which may give it a unique touch and should look exciting to my teacher when he reads it!.!. I decided to burn down the corners of page but i guess its been overused quiet alot before as well!.

perhaps you could make it look like a newspaper article!. put it on paper similar to newspaper!.!. name your paper, title your article, make sure to include your byline!.!. etc etc!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

While the design principles apply to all works of art, an obvious direction would be graphic design!. You could design your paper like a poster or advert, taking advantage of simple graphics to illustrate the concepts, as well as paying close attention to how you format the text as typesetting is a huge aspect of graphic design!.

You can experiment with a cool cover!. Try using butcher paper (or a paper bag) and making it look an old leather bound book!. I helped my daughter once with a similar cover and we did a lot of experimenting with crumpling, soaking, and dyeing the butcher paper!. It looks really neat when done!Www@QuestionHome@Com
